IBPS ANNOUNCES 2nd common written Examination (CWE-PO/MT-II), for selection of personal for Probationary Officer/ Management Trainee in 19 public sector banks.
This exam is conducted twice a year by IBPS. Those candidates who wish to join any of these 19 banks as probationary officers they have to give CWE. After appearing in CWE candidates will be awarded score cards depending upon their performance in CWE. Candidates have to minimum score in order to qualify this exam.
For GENEREAL CANDIDATES: They have to score at least 24 marks in each section.
For SC/ST/OBC/PD CANDIDATES: they have to score at least 21 marks in each section.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
- EDUCATIONAL:Graduation in any discipline from recognized university.
- AGE: MINIMUM- 20 YEAR MAXIMUM- 30 YEAR
COST OF APPLICATION:
Rs. 50/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
Rs. 450 /- for all others
EXAMINATION STRUCTURE:
- Reasoning (No. of Qust-50- max. marks-50)
- English Language (No. of Qust-50- max. marks-50)
- Quantitative Aptitude (No. of Qust-50- max. marks-50)
- General Awareness(with special reference to Banking Industry) (No. of Qust-50, max. marks-50)
- Computer Knowledge (No. of Qust-50- max. marks-50)
- Descriptive Paper on English Composition(Essay, Précis, Letter Writing etc)
MARKING SCHEME:
There will be negative marking for wrong answer. For one wrong one fourth or 0.25 of marks will be deducted. The marks will be rounded off to the nearest integer.
SCORE CARD:
Score card will be sent to those candidates who have qualified this examination by speed post. This CWE score card is valid for one year.
HOW TO APPLY:
Candidates can apply online only from 09th march to 30th march. There is no other mean for aplication.
Things required before applying.
- Scan of Photograph(Dimensions=200 x 230 pixels and Size of file should be between 20kb–50 kb) and signature(Dimensions 140 x 60 pixels and Size of file should be between 10kb – 20kb.) file should be .jpg or. jpeg.
- A valid email ID.
- And in case if payment is made online then all detail regarding credit card/ debit card/ net banking.
Fill all the details and upload photograph and signature.
MODE OF PAYMENT:
Now comes payment
Payment can be made online or offline.
1. For online payment candidate can use debit card or internet banking. After payment candidates will be given a Registration number and a password.
2. For offline mode candidate have to submit the form. System will generate provisional registration number and password. Candidates have to take print out of system generated challan.
Payment will be accepted after 2 days of registration. And can be made within 3 days. Here days means working days. Payment can be made in any CBS branch of Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Central Bank of India, Indian Overseas Bank, Punjab National Bank, United Bank of India.
After 2 days of payment candidates will be notified by email or sms. Now your registration is completed and login to system and note down your registration no. and password.

ADMIT CARD:
All eligible candidates should download their call letter from the IBPS’s website
www.ibps.in by entering his / her details i.e. Registration Number and Password/Date of
Birth, after 04/06/2012. Candidates should note that No hard copy of the call letter/ Information Handout will be sent by post/ courier.
Note: Candidates have to bring their Written Examination call letter along with their photo identity proof in original as well as a photocopy while attending the written examination and will have to submit the Written Examination call letter and photocopy of photo-identity proof in the examination hall.
