SSC CGL 2012 | SSC COMBINED GRADUATE LEVEL EXAMINATION 2012

SSC is holding Combined Graduate Level Examination 2012, for diffrent post in goverment of india.
Much awaited exam CGL, Combined Graduate level Examination, 2012  was announced on 24.03.12.

Last date: 20th April 2012

Date of Examination: TIER I- SUNDAYS the 1st July, 2012 & 8th July, 2012
                                 TIER II - 16th September,  2012

Scheme of Examination: CGL 2012 will comprise of two Tiers of Written Objective Type examination followed by Computer Proficiency Test/ Interview/Skill test.
Preference for Posts, is to be indicated in the application. For the post of Assistant in CSS, candidate shall have not more than three attempts.

Cost of Aplication: Rs.100/- only woman/SC/ST/OBC /PH/EX- seviceman are exempted from paying fees.

MODE OF PAYMENT:

1. Through CRFS (CENTRAL RECURITMENT FEES STAMP).
   Those candidate who are applying through Post, have to download form and get a CRFS stamp of 100 afixed on it and send it to nearest SSC office.

1. Online application:
   Candidates applying through online can pay through SBI CHALLAN after part I registration. OR Through netbanking/CreditCard/Debit Card.
   The facility of on-line application will be available upto 17.04.2012 (5:00 pm) for part-i registration and for part-ii registration upto 20.04.2012 (5.00 p.m.)

Candidates selected for appointment are liable to serve anywhere in India i.e. all these posts carry All India Service Liability (AISL).

ELIGIBILITY:

AGE: 18-27 years on 1.1.12

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:  As on 1st August,2012.

i) COMPILER: Bachelor’s Degree with Economics or Statistics or Mathematics as compulsory or Elective subject from any recognized University.
ii) STATISTICAL INVESTIGATOR GRADE :II Bachelor’s Degree with Statistics as one of the main subjects.
OR
Bachelor‟s Degree with Mathematics( with Statistics as a papers studied in one year/two years/all three years as the case may be) as one of the main subjects.
OR
Bachelor‟s Degree with Economics ( with Statistics as a paper studied in one year/two years/all the three years as the case may be) as one of the main subjects.
OR
Bachelor’s Degree with Commerce (with Statistics as a paper studied in one year/two years/all the three years as the case may be) as one of the main subjects.
iii) ALL OTHER POSTS: Bachelor’s Degree (Graduation Degree) from a recognized University or equivalent.

NOTE: For posts of Assistants(CSS), computer proficiency has also been prescribed as an Essential Qualification.

SCHEME OF EXAMINATION:

CGL 2012 will consist of TIER I and TIER II.

TIER I:

A. General Intelligence + Reasoning - 50 marks

B. General Awareness-50marks

C. Quantitative Aptitude –50 marks

D. English Comprehension -50 marks

TIER II:

I.                    Quantitative Abilities : 200 marks (100 Questions)

II.                 English Language & Comprehension: 200 marks.
