SBI announces recruitment of assistants and stenographers.
This is notification is modified advertisement on 27th Dec 2012.
This time total vacancies is 8500!!.
Instruction for those who have applied earlier for SBI ASSISTANT.
PAY SCALE:
Rs. 7200-400/3-8400-500/3-9900-600/4-12300-700/7-17200-1300/1-18500-800/1-19300
Monthly emolument of a clerical cadre employee will be Rs. 14,177/- including DA and other allowances.

EXAMINATION: 27.05.2012
and 03.06.2012(Sunday)
SCHEME OF EXAMINATION:
The written test will be of Objective type consisting of
- General Awareness
- General English
- Quantitative Aptitude
- Reasoning Ability
- Marketing Aptitude / Computer Knowledge.
There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. Candidates will have to pass in each of the objective tests.
ELIGIBILITY:
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
Minimum 12th Standard (10 + 2) pass or equivalent qualification with a minimum of Aggregate 60% marks (55% for SC/ ST/ PWD/ XS).
OR
A degree (Graduation level) from a recognized university.
AGE:
Minimum age: 18 years and maximum age 28 years. As on 1.12.11

HOW TO APPLY:
Those candidates who are applying afresh:
Please note that candidate
- Must have a valid email ID.
- And scanned photograph and signature.
Photograph must be colored and have of Dimensions 200 x 230 pixels (preferred) and Size of file should be between 20kb–50 kb.
Signature must be signed on white paper with black pen. And have Dimensions 140 x 60 pixels (preferred) and Size of file should be between 10kb – 20kb
Step 1: Go to SBI site http://www.statebankofindia.com/user.htm and click on apply now or click here to apply now.
Step 2: Enter the details and upload you photograph and signature. You can also save and edit your details but only for 3 times. After submitting your form i.e. clicking on submit button you will notified to confirm the details. And system will generate a registration number and password. At this time your registration is temporary.
Step 3:
MODE OF PAYMENT:
Payment can be made online or offline.
1. Offline payment:
As you submit the form you will see a system generated challan form. Take print out of it.
Payment will be accepted after 2nd day of registration.
Once fee paid the registration process is completed.
Candidates will receive registration confirmation by sms/ email after two working days .Candidate can take reprint of application.
2. Online payment:
For online payment you have to select proper payment gateway viz Credit card/ Debit card / Net banking.
Fill all necessary details of the gateway you have selected.
On successful completion of the transaction, e-receipt and application form will be generated; you may take its printout for your record.
ADMIT CARD:
No hard copy of the call letter/acquaint yourself
booklet will be sent By post. So the candidates should download their call
letter and an acquaint Yourself booklet by entering his/her registration number
and
Password/date of birth, after 12.05.2012 from the
bank’s website.
