COUNCEIL OF SCIENTIFIC AND INDUSTRIAL RESEARCH
NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY TEST(NET)
Cisr will hold Joint CISR-UGC test for junior research fellowship
and eligibility for lectureship for appointment of lecturer in certain subject
area falling undet the science.
Candidates can apply for JRF+ NET or only NET. Two separate
merit will be made for the above examination depending upon the score of
performance of candidates in the exam.

Physical sciences
ELIGIBILITY:
M.SC or equivalent
degree under the subject with minimum 55%. Final year student can also apply if
they are appering or appeared in the final semester or final examination.
AGE:
For JRF+NET minimum and maximum age limit is 19 and 28 year
old respectively. For Lecturership(NET) minimum age is 19 year with no maximum
year.

SYLLABUS:
Question paper will have three section.
Part A is common to all subject. This part contain question
from general science, quantitative reasoning and analysis and research
aptitude.
Part B will contain subject related multiple choice
questions. Generally covering topics given in the syllabus
Part C will contain higer value question that may test the
candidates knowledge of scientific concepts and of application of the
scientific concepts.
